艾植
|
欢迎 艾植(iPlant)是一个与脑深部刺激电极植入物有着相同概念，但仍处在开发阶段、尚未应用在人体上的大脑植入物。完整植入后，它能通过电刺激调控脑内单胺的释放，并让使用者能够自行控制自身的动力、情绪、学习与创新能力。类似的脑内植入物在过去数十年里已经在动物模型研究上得到实现：通过对大脑奖励回馈系统的刺激（RBS）与相关行为改变的研究，成功诱导鼠及其他动物完成高强度运动(Burgess et al 1991, Garner et al 1991) 与解题行为(Hermez-Vasquez et al 2005)。单胺电调控同样可以帮助人完成困难任务，包括高强度运动、学习与研究工作。艾植同时也可能成为比药物（如兴奋剂及抗抑郁药）更具有动态平衡性的调控单胺的方法手段。  脑深部刺激电极通过调控人脑内奖励回馈系统，现在已经成为治疗精神疾病的方法之一，例如美敦力的Reclaim植入物系统，以伏隔核作为主要刺激靶点治疗强迫症，已经通过欧盟CE及美国FDA认证。艾植可以通过同样的技术与外科操作完成植入，但其所提供的电流比起现在其他脑内植入物应用的恒定弱电流，将会是更强而短暂的奖励回馈系统刺激电流。而通过医患同意书则能保证该电流只能做为事先规划的、有利的行为，比如工作、运动、学习等。用条件性RBS诱导人工行为动力是艾植现在最实际也是最有发展潜力的应用。本网站支持艾植的道德伦理的合理性发展与公众舆论对单胺神经科学、脑深部刺激电极及条件性大脑奖励回馈刺激的认识与参与；更直观地说，探讨研究个人化神经调控的未来：当科技发展到人类可以准确而有效地控制自己脑内化学反应时，我们的下一步该怎么走？
